The Nordmann kumquat is a seedless variant of the regular Nagami kumquat. Both have the same small, oval shape and bright orange skin with sweet rind and tart flesh, but Nordmann offers a smoother eating experience without the bitterness or interruption of seeds. The flavor is slightly milder, though the overall fruit quality and tree growth are otherwise nearly identical.

TreeSource specializes in custom orders as long as order minimums are met. C35 rootstock would be used for a semi-dwarf Nordmann tree.

Nordmann Seedless kumquat trees typically grow to about 10 to 15 feet tall when planted in the ground under ideal conditions. However, when grafted onto dwarf or semi-dwarf rootstock or grown in containers, they usually stay smaller, reaching around 4 to 6 feet in height with a compact form suitable for home gardens and patios. They grow slowly compared to other varieties of citrus and can be easily pruned to maintain their size.

Year-round shipments are a common practice unless severe cold weather is expected along the freight route. If this happens, a short delay until the weather passes is the policy.
