The Minneola tangelo tree, available from TreeSource Citrus Nursery, is a prized addition to any citrus enthusiast’s garden. A hybrid of the Duncan grapefruit and Dancy tangerine, the Minneola tangelo—often called a “Honeybell” due to its distinctive bell shape—offers a unique blend of sweet and tangy flavor. • How many varieties of citrus trees do you grow?
At TreeSource Citrus Nursery, we offer over a hundred different varieties of citrus fruit trees for sale. Our extensive selection includes popular types such as navels, Valencias, mandarins, satsumas, lemons, limes, grapefruit, kumquats, and pummelos. Whether you’re looking for standard or dwarf citrus trees, we have the perfect options to meet your needs. • What are the available shipping options for my Valencia orange citrus trees?
TreeSource Citrus Nursery uses UPS Ground for most shipments within the U.S. Keep in mind that California nurseries can’t ship to Florida or Texas, but can ship to all other states and many foreign countries. Contact us for more information.
  • What is the optimal planting density for Valencia trees in a commercial orchard?
The Valencia orange trees for sale at TreeSource come in various rootstocks, such as Rich 16-6 trifoliate, C-35, or Carrizo. All will require at least 20-feet of spacing across the row and no less than 10 feet down the row. This spacing is called “double density” planting and will require a tree to be removed in 10-12 years to allow the Valencia trees to fully mature.
  • What kind of certification or testing do the Valencia trees undergo to guarantee their health?
At TreeSource Citrus Nursery, we grow our Valencia orange trees in CDFA- and USDA-certified greenhouses, following the highest standards of horticulture.. We use only certified budwood that is part of California’s Clean Stock Program.
  • Why should I choose a Valencia orange tree versus some other variety of citrus?
Valencia orange trees for sale at TreeSource represent one of the easiest citrus trees to grow. They fruit prolifically every year, make the best fresh orange juice you can imagine, and are adaptable to almost any climate. Valencia trees can handle desert conditions, coastal conditions, dry climates, or humid ones. They are the most adaptable of any citrus variety and are counter-seasonal to navels and mandarins, so they are the fruit of choice if you desire year-round citrus fruit in your garden or citrus farm.
